I first met Wendy when I walked into Manulife HQ to enquire about a retirement saving policy and was recommended by a Senior Agent to work with Wendy.She carefully listened to my concerns and looked through all my existing saving policies before sharing her recommendations. -My personal financial goal-My financial plan is to help make the best use of my money and achieve short, mid and long-term financial goals, which are divided into different stages of my life. Since the age of 18, I had planned and re-planned working with many different financial advisers to help me with my goals. That was the era when insurance/investment policy products were so complicated and in-transparent. Along the way, I also met some good adviser as well as the “bubble type” (sell and vaporized). Learning the hard way, I start to appreciate good financial adviser and choose them very carefully.

When I met Wendy for the first time, it was a cold call that led her to me. I am open to meet different Financial Services Consultants from various companies for different opinions and yet, skeptical of unreliable Financial Services Consultants whom hit and run. She is very friendly and approachable but I did not engage her services due to the fact that she is new to the industry (her mentor was following her that day). Experience tells me that I should wait and see. Then, she proved me wrong. She followed up with me relentlessly for a good 3 years before I finally bought the 1st product from her. What different is in the short 3 years, her knowledge of financial product grown vastly. Due to her natural caring personality, I trust her to do my financial planning. She makes an effort to update and share with me periodically on solutions that can benefit me. She also came up with a detailed report of what my shortfalls are and proposed a good plan to help me with my goals. She is very patient and detailed in explaining complicated concepts. She is also transparent in sharing with me the pros and cons of each policy. Whenever I have any questions, I will send her a message and she has always been prompt in her replies.
