Hi! My name is Shengyu and thank you for visiting my page.

I decided to join my wife, an 11-year veteran in the Financial Advisory industry, late 2023 when I came to realise the importance of proper financial and estate planning following the sudden, unexpected demise of my grandfather, and the torrents of (otherwise avoidable) dispute and unhappiness that ensued.

I was a national basketball athlete since age 16, served the team for 15 years, participating in 3 editions of the SEA Games and clinching 2 Bronze medals in 2013 and 2015, ending Singapore’s medal drought of 34 years. I also played professionally for 3 years with the Singapore Slingers was crowned ASEAN 3-point champion in 2013.

After graduating from Hwa Chong Institution with straight A’s, I went on to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from National University of Singapore, receiving the prestigious First Class Honours.

I’m also a proud father of two young boys. I treasure every moment spent with them and want to them to have the most awesome childhood ever!

My goal in the financial industry is to reach out to as many people as possible to share the importance of financial literacy and planning, protect families and building lasting relationships.
