Joelly was my ex colleague and a fresh grad when we were working together in a different industry. She has been very independent and diligent in her field of work back then so did not expect her to become a financial consultant later.

When Joelly approached me, I was not interested in financial planning at first because I have always thought that I have enough of insurance plans and policies but she has been patient in going through my current policies and sharing with me details that I may overlook.

Firstly, I have to say I do not know Joelly personally before i engaged her as my financial consultant.

I was looking for an annuity product 3 years ago and I emailed Manulife to enquires about their product. Joelly contacted me to provide me the info that I need. Through our discussion/ interaction, she comes across as an honest, reliable and factual person - she don’t sugar coat anything & share the fact for you to make decision, not pushy - a very important trait in financial industry (most FC will try to push their product regardless whether it will benefits their client or not )

She is also very diligent with her follow up and she will always check whenever I asked her a curve ball questions before providing me the answer. She helped me to analyse situation and provide me a different perspective. She is definitely a good financial consultant to engage if you need advise or analyse different financial product - especially if you are not familiar or new to buying insurance product.

When Joelly first became a financial consultant, she did not straight away approach me to buy plans from her.
